Clay Konnor is also Clay Elliott
Clay Elliott is an artist who has worked over the years in pastels, water colors, graphic design, computer-generated art and myriad mixed-media. Clay received his BFA from Bethel College in St. Paul, MN. Currently he is working with a mixed-media of water color and pastel to create commissioned works depicting client’s favorite people or places with a particular emphasis on children’s portraiture. Clay’s works currently hang in galleries, restaurants and retail stores in Wisconsin, New York, New Jersey, California, Tokyo, London, Scotland and elsewhere. The bulk of his work, however, hangs where it belongs… on the walls of private homes where the artful depiction of favorite places or special people can be enjoyed by the people who commissioned it.

On this web site are but a few examples of Clay’s work. Visit the portfolio page of this site to view the work. One word about the examples…as these images had to be scanned or photographed to be presented here, the color rendering is only approximate. An actual work will have softer and deeper color. Clay works only from photographs, obviating the need for lengthy sittings and allowing for more realistic presentations of personality.
